Responsibilities

 

·       Inventory Optimization to ensure stock levels are maintained to meet the RSAF operational requirements.

·       Item Management ensuring that the item core data elements are created and maintained with topical information.

·       Initial Provisioning compilation which includes the creation, editing and maintenance of Definitization documents, consumption and usage data, meeting records and the configuration control of the contract IP lists.

·       Repair management to maintain the levels of serviceability required to meet the RSAF operational requirements.

·       Priority management and daily aircraft status reporting for NMCS and PMCS including interface with the Integrated Logistics Operation Cell (ILOC).

·       Obsolescence Management reporting throughout the Supply Chain and in conjunction with relevant organisations.

·       Demand Forecasting and Planning of Spares and Equipment.

·       To ensure the use of Lateral Support is effective and controlled to maximize the use of surplus and excess RSAF inventory.

·       Provide support to KPI and Milestone reporting.

·       Daily management and supervision of Supply Chain personnel within the Planning activity and deputising for the Supply Chain Contract Team Leader when required. 

 

Job Requirements:

 

·       Should be educated to Degree or Higher National certificate or Military equivalent.

·       Must hold relevant qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain operations certified by a professional training body civilian or military Skill Level 7.

·       Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory position.

·       Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of managing critical spares shortages within an aircraft operational environment.

·       Must have a minimum of 8 years practical experience in Initial Provisioning, Inventory Management, Procurement and Storage & Distribution.

·       Must have excellent demonstrable practical experience of Microsoft Excel

·       Must have a demonstrable understanding or experience of ISO9001-2015.

·       Must have a clear and demonstrable understanding of Supply Chain models.

·       Must have a clear and demonstrable understanding of Maintenance Philosophy and Policy Principles.

·       Must have demonstrable practical experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Power Point, Outlook and Project.

·       Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal English language.

·       Knowledge and experience of RSAF Logistics and Supply procedures.

·       Knowledge and understanding of Servogistics, SIMLOX and OPUS demand forecasting, optimization and modelling software..

·       Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Access.

·       Knowledge and experience of EASA and FAA regulations.

·       A track record of Supply/Logistics supervisory experience within a demanding environment, preferably within a Military operation.

·       The ability to act upon his own initiative and manage concurrent tasking within the scope of his job.

·       A track record of meeting strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality.

·       Experience in critical parts management, demand management, repairs management and Supply Chain operations.

·       Experience in the use of Microsoft Office programmes and the ability to produce high quality reporting.

·       A track record of being able to implement continuous improvements.
