JOB PURPOSE 

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia.  We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The purpose of this role is to provide Training to RSAF IDS Pilots, WSOs and Instructors.  Liaising between local RSAF, Company Management and BAE Systems. You will be providing Supervision and Performance Management of aligned BAE Systems Employees. Carrying out all the duties of the Head of Flying in their absence.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

·    Providing air and ground instruction to RSAF Tornado IDS crew at all levels

• Providing the RFWS and Tornado IDS specialist expertise necessary to develop, operate and maintain the IDS Weapons Instructor course syllabus.
• Supervising all BAE activity on the RFWS.
• Support RSAF Commanders on RSAF training, BAE Systems recruitment and flight safety related issues

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

• Recent IDS Experience.

• Being a Graduate of a National Fighter Weapons Instructor course.

• Substantial Proven experience as a Weapons Instructor.
