Responsibilities

 

The Jobholder will:

·       Deliver the theoretical and practical training products at any nominated and approved location, striving to ensure that BAESSDT meets customer satisfaction key performance indicators (KPI) and targets. To be at a constant standard as required by BAE Systems and Ministry of HR & SD.

·       Create training materials for their classes based on their client’s requirements. These materials may include hands-on training modules or book-related learning and tests.

·       Safety trainers hold sessions with our client’s employees to map the training materials and training requirements.

·       They teach this material, test and qualify each employee involved in the session.

·       Sometimes, they may hold more classes that help train employees or update their certification.

·       Arrange and manage training classes, catering, venues and other training requirements.

·       Arrange and manage first aid training and train the trainer requirements registration and maintaining the qualification.

·       Upload the results of the training to corporate portal and manage any internal / external reports.

·       The ongoing update, maintenance and editing of BAESSDT training material to include approved course notes, PPT presentations and other data ensuring compliance with internal BAESSDT processes whilst doing so.

·       Development and innovation of training products and material to ensure BAESSDT remains at the forefront of training for the industry. To keep themselves constantly up to date with modules that they deliver to ensure immediate delivery as required.

·       Must meet the creatrea to register as NEBOSH trainer and able to deliver NEBOSH award and Certificate level training in both Arabic and English.

·       Ensure that the BAE Systems SDT Business Management System & Safety, Health and Environment requirements are applied and implemented

·       Completes his ePDR process.

·       Assists in decisions on matters of curriculum development & training resources, manning requirements, safety requirements and technical facility.

·       Lead the registration of BAES SDT as TVT SHE training centre and Cwader training centre.

·       Register BAES SDT as NEBOSH accreted center.

·       Ensure the integrity of the data held on SHE Intranet Site and Reporting metrics (including validation, accuracy and currency audits) and collate statistics and management reports from these sources.

·       Support the area manager or SHE Manager by providing a single central source of competent advice on all SHE training issues, ensuring consistency of approach by applying the designated standards across BAE Systems Saudi Arabia

·       Provide competent advice and guidance at SHE Meetings.

·       Will assist in the attainment and maintenance of relevant international standards as set by the Business i.e. 45001/14001 etc.

·       Deliver mandated training as detailed within the “SHE Training” document such as SHE Induction for new arrivals and transferees (all nationalities), Fire Awareness and Fire Warden Training.

·       Will develop and deliver workplace specific training courses such as MH, WAH, COSHH, and RA etc.; identified through risk assessments, accident investigations, trends analysis, or to support a particular programme or improvement.

·       Support the creation of BAESSDT SHE training academy.

 

Job Requirements:

·       Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have the appropriate qualifications and experience and are eligible to register with the MHRSD as either an Occupational Health & Safety Practitioner or as a Professional as per the requirements of Ministerial Decision 76509.

·       The candidate must speak dual languages Arabic and English fluently and be registered with TVT. The candidate must hold instructing/training qualification.

·       The SHE instructor must have technical knowledge of a sufficient level and depth to enable the delivery of the SHE training materials.

·       Preferable to have Aerospace Environment experience.
