Location: Frimley (Surrey). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 1-2 days per week.

Salary: £25,900

Role description 

This role will provide the opportunity to develop an understanding of Offset and Industrial Cooperation within both BAE Systems and the wider defence industry. You will learn and apply the techniques required to support the business in building strong customer relationships, gaining insight into offset and Industrial Cooperation objectives, and helping to influence campaign strategies and planning activities accordingly. In addition, you will support the development and promotion of Offset and Industrial Cooperation tools, training and guidance, helping to drive awareness and understanding of these activities across the Group.

Core duties 

•    Develop an understanding of key customer/ regional offset regulatory environment and customer drivers 
•    Support the business in navigating the Offset Policy and providing input into offset planning 
•    Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the offset community in support of developing and identifying offset opportunities 
•    Facilitate the development of offset guidance, tools and training in support of the Group Offset Centre of excellence

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Commercial, Business Development, Geopolitics, Supply Chain, Finance, Governance.
