JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

Design and build the Attack & Ident Sub-system (AISS) Mission Data (MD). To ensure that the AISS MD design and implementation best meets the MRS.
To provide the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) with the support and knowledge transfer such that and they acquire the skills necessary to independently and indigenously Design, Build and Test & Verify AISS for the RSAF Typhoon AISS.
The Typhoon AISS covers the following functions that are driven by MD:

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The key responsibilities will include, but are not limited the following:

Review MRS.
-
Develop the AISS mission Data (MD) Specification.
-
Generate Radar NCI Template MD.
-
Design, build and evaluate the Sensor Fusion and Display data MD.
-
Build Weapon MD.
-
Provide Aircrew Briefing Guide (ABG) input to the Operations section.
-
Develop and maintain processes and procedures.
-
Assist the RSAF to set up, operate and maintain the Typhoon EWOS capability.

Train RSAF staff in all aspects of Typhoon AISS MD generation.
-
Train RSAF staff in all aspects of Typhoon AISS Test and Verification (T&V).
-
Work under the direction of the MD Production Supervisor.

Provide On the Job Training (OJT) to AISS Programmer and T&V roles.

Day to day team leadership and direction.
-
Team development Personal Development Plans.

SHE leadership and leading by example.

Day to day team management to maximise utilisation, effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential
-
Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent.
-
Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications with Windows and Internet search.
-
Experience in Typhoon AISS MD generation and T&V (specifically Sensor Fusion).

Proficiency in English language.
-
Demonstrate an existing SCE registration or the ability to attain one.
Desirable
-
Chartered status.
-
Qualified Trainer.
