Salary: Circa £40,000

Role Description:

As an Training instructor in the Customer Training Department, you will have the opportunity to work with leading, innovative and cutting-edge products, as a member of an experienced training team. The role reports to the Lead Training Instructor.

Core Duties:

  • Understanding customer complex requirements to develop a bespoke training solution
  • Coordinating training activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Integrated Project Teams and other functions
  • Contributing proactively to continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Skills:

  • A Degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline or equivalent by experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and is confident
  • Prepared to travel to deliver training to various internal and external customers at the Rochester Training Centre and locations around the world
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering would be really beneficial

The Customer Training team:

The Customer Training Team are based at Rochester and have been providing technical training courses to both External and Internal Customers for over 50 years. The Customer Training Department specialises in providing complete training solutions, often bespoke, for our customers. Our team of experienced and qualified instructors provide Training Needs Analysis, Course Design, Training Course Delivery and Assurance activities to ensure we meet the customers’ needs. The courses regularly involve theoretical and practical elements to achieve the goals of the customer.
