Test Admin & Invigilator

Responsibilities

·       Ensure examination entries and cadet registrations are input in an accurate and timely manner in the test generator, including the operation of electronic data transfer systems.

·       Ensure that preparation of examination materials is well organised, and equipment is available during the examination sessions.

·       Work in cooperation with colleagues to ensure that examination sessions are appropriately resourced with IT equipment and the labs are operable and fully functional.

·       Ensure examination materials are securely stored, distributed, retrieved in accordance with TSI policies and procedures.

·       Ensure that information relating to examination schedules and expected behaviour is clearly communicated to the cadets.

·       Support line manager in relation to the analysis of both the timely capture of achievement data as well as end year statistical analysis of achievement and other examination related data.

·       Undertake any other duties, as requested, commensurate with the level of this post.

·       The job holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by his line manager which aligns with company business.

Job Requirements:

·       A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC level in a relevant discipline. A recognized qualification in computer software in general (Examination Administration & Labs operation) Or suitable equivalent.

·       Must have an English Language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 4.5 (CEFR B1) when recruited and achieved within the last 2 years if non-native speaker.

·       Should demonstrate significant competence with computer software particularly the Microsoft Office suite.

·       Familiarity with data analysis tools is required as is an ability to provide detailed feedback on exam performance.

·       A working knowledge of the governance documents used within TSI e.g. BAE Systems Regulations and Mandates, EASA Regulations and RSAF Instructions etc.

·       A familiarity with the roles of invigilators in line with City & Guilds criteria.

·       Proven capability in training and administration.
