Job Title: Technical Documentation Controller

Location: RAF Coningsby

Salary: £44,096

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing the status of each maintenance track, for outstanding technical issues, configurating checks of the data on Industry and Customer data toolsets, compliance to processes and compliance to the Military Aviation Regulations
  • Supporting Data management and correction activities of the aircraft system components on the aircraft and ensuring the aircraft components on the aircraft have their lifing accounts correctly captured and co-ordinated for delivery back to the customer
  • Providing feedback to the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation
  • Ensuring that all work tasked in the Part M Statement of Work is completed and co-ordinated in a timely manner
  • Making sure all Technical enquiries are carried out and fed back to the key stakeholders
  • Assisting in all Configuration Audit and Electronic Document Safety and Quality Audits
  • Supervising the quality of all Typhoon Maintenance Facility (TMF) Engineering documentation including electronic certification of aircraft maintenance on Both the Military system of airworthiness records and the company’s maintenance toolset.
  • Supporting the Airworthiness Team Lead in managing output as defined by the TMF Depth Maintenance Plan and providing information, statistics and data as required for TMF Maintenance Support analysis

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Have a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship and/or Further Engineering qualifications (e.g. HNC, HND) or relevant authorisations and aircraft experience
  • Data analytic skills
  • Experience with IT Based toolsets (including Microsoft applications, ESS and Maintenix)
  • Aircraft maintenance knowledge of regulation and/or Royal Air force experience or knowledge

Desirable

  • Aircraft systems knowledge

The Typhoon Aircraft Maintenance Team:

As a Technical documentation Controller, you will be part of the team that capture and co-ordinate Technical Documentation, to support configuration control of the Typhoon Aircraft Airworthiness Records.

You will be part of a multi award winning team that are proud to offer the maintenance services to the Royal Air Forces Typhoon aircraft fleet in order to allow the continual operations of the Typhoon aircraft across the globe.

You will be interacting with key customer and Industry Engineering and support staff to ensure that the service they provide is fit for purpose.

You will also be part of an enterprise organisation ensuring the business meets its contractual obligations.
