Role Description:

Within a team environment and under limited supervision, the Support System Source Data Lead is responsible for their own review activities, in accordance with relevant project procedures and work instructions, to achieve project technical, schedule and cost goals. They may be asked to lead discrete activities and provide guidance to peers.

Core Duties:

The Support System Source Data Analyst’s key responsibilities are to understand the requirements placed on the Supplier per the Supplier’s Subcontract, and review Supplier Deliverables, ensuring:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Supplier’s scope of supply;
  • Consistency and completeness across product suite
  • Safety is appropriately addressed, particularly through Technical Documentation
  • Thorough and clear comments are captured, logged in the Supplier Comments Workbook, categorised by significance of the comment or issue identified in accordance with the review process
  • Determination of recommended Conformance result is made for each assigned CDRL Deliverable, and is correctly assigned and submitted in the CDRL review system, indicating your recommendation of whether the Supplier has met their obligations for the reviewed document based on the requirements of the Subcontract
  • CDRL Review timeframes are understood and adhered to. Where issues are identified regarding timeframes, these are reported through line management and impacted Supply Chain Manager to ensure transparency and enable correspondence with the Supplier in relation to forecast for completion
  • Where required and relevant, support engagement meetings with Suppliers to discuss technical aspects of comments, and ensure Supplier understands the issue, a resolution is determined and is agreeable, and a remediation forecast commitment is established (usually conducted virtually via MS Teams to achieve Conformant and Complete CDRL Deliverables.

KEY CRITERIA:

  • Knowledge of ILS or Support System product is considered desirable
  • Ability to follow defined processes and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills is considered mandatory
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
