JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.
BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.
Responsible for delivering effective and efficient training analysis, design, development and delivery of training solutions covering Supply Chain Technical and Soft Skills Training, and Workshops, to meet the customer’s needs and requirements of the Supply Chain personnel.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Direct and lead specialist training functions and conduct specialist training in support of Supply Chain.

Ensure the general welfare of students in assigned areas during training activities and monitor their performance so that everyone achieves maximum progress towards the training objectives.

Carry out analysis, design, production, development and delivery of new and existing training courses, ensuring they are aligned to meet the customer’s needs in terms of time, cost and specification.

Research, write and validate advanced training notes Deliver/Supervise practical based OJT / training consolidation.
-
Provide specialist training inputs as a subject matter expert to the bidding process in response to customer enquiries and training proposals.

Specify, design and develop appropriate and effective training aids – including computer aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems – to ensure course delivery within Supply Chain, the customers’ training facilities, or in line with contractual deliverables.

Produce training support materials – including curriculum, training objectives, syllabuses, course plans, and assessment and evaluation methods – to satisfy customers’ training requirements.

Maintain and review the required levels of technical expertise to ensure compatibility with technical advances and in line with current and developing needs.

Conduct assessment and evaluation exercises and implement remedial action as required.

Plan, control and deliver assigned courses, and contribute support to cross-discipline courses/investigations, ensuring requirements are delivered to plan.

To counsel students regarding their academic performance or behaviour as required.

To maintain classroom procedures. Such procedures will include the maintenance of discipline.

To keep abreast of developments in his subject and be willing to attend staff development courses as required by the Company.

Detailed understanding of the design and operation of complex and integrated systems, enabling theoretical and practical applications to be utilised in both training and operational environments Operation of complex training aids and simulators.

Supervisory ability within an operational training environment.

Sound business awareness.

Good interpersonal skills to be able to teach specialist skills and knowledge across a range of cultures, status, intellect and technical ability.

Use the Supply Chain system to maintain accurate, up to date, comprehensive, orderly and easily accessible training records.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential
-
Specific Training Qualification in DSAT or SAT derived training.
-
A recognised formal instructor qualification.
-
Teaching/instructional experience within the last 6 years.
-
The ability to deliver course material in clear and appropriately graded English.
-
Speciality Instructors whose native language is not English shall have a standard of English language as appropriate to their role. The PC shall ensure English language standards are maintained in the staff through training and regular testing, where appropriate. This will either be:

A valid IELTS certificate (gained in the last two (2) years) showing an average band score of 5.0 with no pillar less than 4.0, gained in the last two (2) years

A CEFR level of B2. If this is demonstrated through the British Council APTIS, it shall be valid for one (1) year only
