The BAE Systems AIR Electrical Operations and Governance team
The BAE Systems AIR Electrical Operations and Governance team operates and governs the electrical distribution networks across the BAE Systems AIR sites. Predominantly Warton and Samlesbury. This is from the 6.6kV incomers to the sites all the way down to the end loads. Whether that be large machinery and plant, to office power. This role will provide technical and operational support to the sites, with exciting upcoming projects which may involve the expansion and re-design of the sites 6,600Volt electrical distribution network, along with working closely with external contractors to ensure statutory works are completed to a high level.
The team of engineers based across both Warton and Samlesbury which will work closes together on projects with potential to also work independently. This is an exciting opportunity to offer both technical input into standards and designs whilst working towards authorised person status to directly operate electrical switchgear.
