Role Description:
The Senior Systems Analyst – Engineering is accountable for the leadership, delivery, continuous improvement, and technical direction of services within the Systems Engineering domain.
The role is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, support, governance, and evolution of business-critical systems while fostering a high-performing and customer-focused team.
Acting as a technical leader, the Senior Systems Analyst – Engineering drives service excellence, develops team capability, and ensures technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.
Core Duties:
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the team, including work planning, prioritisation, resource allocation, and team coordination.
- Building and sustaining a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture that promotes innovation, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and services to internal customers, maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes and service excellence.
- Developing, maintaining, and executing service roadmaps that align with business priorities, technology strategies, and future capability needs.
- Monitoring service performance and identifying opportunities to improve reliability, usability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technology outcomes.
- Acting as the primary escalation point for complex operational, service, and system-related issues.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, supporting professional growth, technical capability uplift, and career development.
- Establishing clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Promoting knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and best practice across the team and broader Digital Delivery and Collaboration (DDC) function.
About You
You will bring:
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive vendor partnerships, monitor performance, and resolve issues to support business objectives.
- Demonstrated experience managing and administering enterprise engineering toolsets, including IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) and/or Cameo Systems Modeler, ensuring effective governance, performance, user support, and alignment with business and engineering requirements.
- Experience managing enterprise engineering toolsets, including budgeting, licensing, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and proven time-management skills with focus on good customer service and stakeholder management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- NV2 Security Clearance, or the ability to successfully obtain.
