What you’ll be doing:
- Develop a broad and detailed understanding of the business IT architecture, Quality Function systems and technologies, emerging technologies internal and external to the company, partnering with leaders in these areas to support the Quality Systems and Technology Roadmap
Responsible for capturing business demand across the Quality Function portfolio with the aim to rationalise these demands and deliver high-quality solutions through strong leadership of the resources available to this role - Responsible for the cradle to grave process – concept design of solution architecture to implementation of resourced improvement projects
- Responsible for project management of the maintenance and technology projects portfolio, including acquiring of funding to furnish the project and associated reporting, project development, launching and implementation
- Owns and is responsible for the development of the functions technology roadmap, communicating its development to an array of stakeholders whilst ensuring this is underpinned through appropriate funding streams and endorsement
- Responsible for the development of the systems, tools and processes associated with the Systems and Technology Team, ensuring these are purposeful, provide balance of governance, robust and capable of standing up to scrutiny and continuity demands
- Provide a robust training and development structure to ensure your team members excel and thrive in the delivery of the demands subjected to this team
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to apply skills and knowledge to a wide range of complex problems
- Previous experience from a Manufacturing, Defence, IT discipline or a large corporate environment and is degree qualified and/or a member of a professional institute
- Demonstrable leadership skills and experience and strong analytical skills
- Experienced in developing business cases for business winning purposes, or equivalent Including Risk and contingency management experience
Desirable:
- Information Management and Technology or solution architecture experience and experience with working with SAP, Teamcenter, SharePoint, Mendix technology systems
- Qualification or equivalent in (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) ITIL, or extensive relevant experience

The Quality Central Function Team
This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to represent the Quality Function in a senior leadership role, engaging with the business at a strategic level and influencing the Quality Function related direction.
