Job Title: Senior Integration Engineer

Salary: £59,491.00 + DOE

Job Description: 

The role is to act as a senior systems integration engineer with emphasis on supporting and working across the domain workstreams (Toolsets/ IT, Processes, Training, Requirements, Test, Qualification and Acceptance), to ensure capability delivery into KSA commensurate with demanding programme timescales and contractual requirements.

This is a highly visible role with international exposure, working collaboratively on-site at Warton and with customer and partner teams in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It offers the opportunity to influence capability development, build engineering excellence, and directly contribute to operational readiness on a major defence programme

Core duties:

  • Working across the domain workstreams (Toolsets, Processes, Training (inc Work experience), System Design, Requirements, Test, Qualification and Acceptance).
  • Support to LTEWP Product development and Certification Test programme management (Factory Acceptance, Site Acceptance Testing and customer Capability Demonstration as appropriate).
  • Generation and management including investigation and solution of System Problems.
  • Input, planning and execution of key customer / external stakeholder engagements, (TRR’s, Briefings, Customer facing workshops).
  • Support ELC/ LCM activities to ensure the product maturity is managed in-line with ELC/ LCM required products and processes.
  • Direct/ Virtual Test Team People Management.
  • Continuing to invoke Best Practice and work with the team to resolve continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills: 

  • Relevant degree in STEM subjects or equivalent (experience may offset).
  • Competent in windows toolsets. (Experience in PLM/ DOORS toolsets desirable).
  • Relative experience gained on an aircraft engineering project.
  • An ability to develop, manage and present a range of complex data to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in an integration / delivery environment.
  • Experience in liaising and managing a team with Team Leader expereince

The Localised Typhoon Electronic Warfare Programme Delivery (LTEWP) Integrated Product Team : 

You will sit at the heart of the LTEWP programme, shaping and driving the end-to-end technical training strategy for our engineering community.

This role provides leadership, coordination and oversight of a comprehensive training framework designed to ensure engineers are fully competent and deployment-ready in line with LTEWP programme requirements.
