Job title: Senior Engineer- Remote Visual Inspection

Salary: £45,628+ Dependent of skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement a tailored training package for the company’s management system
- Lead research and development of specialised equipment to support business objectives, including exploring innovations from other industries to meet evolving needs
- Provide comprehensive support for RVI equipment, including maintenance, repairs, procurement, trials, and handling emergent requests within the department
- Generate and analyse performance metrics to assess the benefits of capability improvements over time
- Assist in preparing business cases and justifications, with a focus on maximising return on investment
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Degree qualified in an Engineering Discipline or relevant experience
- Knowledge Visual inspection
- Must have the ability to effectively negotiate, persuade and influence up to senior management
Desirable
- Previous RVI/inspection experience would be beneficial
- Must have excellent report writing skills
- Toolsets Jira, Sharepoint, Microsoft
- Remote visual inspection experience

The Nuclear Engineering Inspection team:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a growing team at BAE Systems, working across a variety of platforms within our Submarine division.
