Job Title: Portfolio Director Data & Digital

Salary: £132,600 + depending on experience with executive benefits
What you’ll be doing:
- You will have autonomy to design and deliver the business strategy for this Defence Portfolio area – to deliver key digital and data solutions to our customer and growth for our business
- You will lead all programme delivery activities, with key focus around the large and complex programmes, ensuring those key programmes are used as the foundation of strategic growth in the UK and supporting leveraging into international markets
- You will lead all existing Account Management projects with specific focus on strategic growth Account Management domains
- You will take a business wide view to identify emerging Key Accounts and working with the Business Development team to grow and/or strengthen account relations
- Leading and ensuring the business acts upon customer opportunities, thinking, knowledge, concerns etc
- You will achieve Order Intake, Sales, Margin and cash targets
- Ensuring margin expansion is delivered using all available levers – Risk management, flawless execution, licence sales and scope management
- You will lead all existing direct customer senior level engagements to Champions/Sponsors local Customer Review activity/projects improving the level of customer satisfaction
- And you will lead the overall Integrated Business Plan inputs to generate orders, sales, margin, cash targets and management of Sales & Marketing and Product Development investments in support of both new and existing Accounts
Your skills and experiences:
- Degree level (or equivalent) qualification
- Experience managing complex programmes, translating requirements into solutions and delivering on time and within budget
- Significant knowledge within the within the data and Digital space (e.g. secure software services, data analytics, application development, and synthetics)
- Disruptive thinker –able to drive innovative digital and data solutions to our customers complex problems
- People management experience (ideally of Account Management professionals)
- Experience operating in a customer environment
- Experience in account management, sales, business development or other business winning environments

The Data & Digital Portfolio team:
As Portfolio Director Data & Digital you will drive and deliver long term strategy while ensuring delivery to multiple customers and into adjacent BAE Systems sectors. You’ll lead the programme delivery, IBP salient and growth of the portfolio; and lead account management to support business winning.
This is an excellent opportunity to set the strategic direction and prioritisation of an organisation of over 500 employees, oversea a number of key investments and bring together best practice from the high-technology sector and the Defence environment to establish the ways of working for the implementation of multi-domain Data & Digital projects in this new and exciting Business Unit.
