Job Title: Performance Manager – People & Resources
Location: Rochester; Kent
Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan, allocate, and manage project management resources across product lines
- Lead full recruitment, onboarding, and job advertising for the project management function
- Support retention, reward, and recognition initiatives to enhance employee engagement
- Provide guidance on performance management and talent development for line managers
- Ensure consistent application and compliance to people policies and standards across the business
- Deliver day-to-day people support, resources administration, and policy compliance
- Manage budgets and financial oversight for the project management function
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of project management processes
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Background in project management or functional operations
- Experience in developing and growing talent in teams
- Experienced in planning, allocating, and optimising project management resources across teams
- Managed budgets and financial oversight for a team or function
- Led process improvements and implemented more efficient ways of working
Desirable
- Project management qualification such as APMQ or equivalent
- Experience in Power BI considered highly advantageous

The People & Resources Team:
This is a brand new and high-profile opportunity within a dynamic team of eight, offering the chance to shape the organisation’s approach to people and resource management from the ground up. Based onsite in Rochester, you will take ownership of workforce planning, resource allocation, performance management, and retention initiatives, ensuring the business has the right people in the right roles at the right time. You will provide expert people support, uphold compliance, and maintain high-quality management standards.
