Responsibilities
· Training and Support Lead is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the MAINT Training , Data Management , Tool Stores, Vehicle and Transport Controller and the Administration and Audit Support Co-ordinator, whilst also managing the local manufacture process and assisting with the MAINT mobility requirements in order to provide support to the RSAF Flying programme in accordance with best industry practice, BAE Systems procedures, the Maintenance Organisation Exposition and the M&CA Regulatory Framework.
· Manage the Training function to ensure all training is delivered to an acceptable standard.
· Manage the Maintenance Tool stores to ensure airworthiness standards are maintained by reviewing and implementing tool control processes.
· Manage the Maintenance in use POL stores to ensure airworthiness standards are maintained.
· To ensure airworthiness standards are maintained by adherence to the use of approved data, and responses IAW the M&CA Regulations and associated approved data.
· Identifying any training deficiencies for personnel within KFAA.
· Manage the task vehicles and maintenance transportation means, coordinate between the end users and contractor.
· Support Safety, and Quality audits and monitor SHE activities across the Maintenance as required.
· Manage Authorisation activities within the Maintenance operational function for the overall task and responsibility of achieving established targets.
· Manage the annual Instructional Specifications reviews for departments under their control.
· Monitor the standard of facilities and ensure any defects are reported to the correct department (O&M etc).
· To maintain an open dialogue within the reporting chain, providing regular reports to the Maintenance Manager.
Job Requirements:
Essential:
Recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA,
Have at least 7 years post qualification practical maintenance experience within operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training OR 3 years on same aircraft type
Leadership skills and proven ability to supervise all levels of engineering personnel.
The successful candidate, Saudi or Expatriate must obtain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level, prior to starting the new role or commencing employment in KSA. SCE membership must be maintained throughout their employment in this role.
Desirable:
A sound understanding of the RSAF 4-1-7166 series and supporting technical publications applicable to his work area
Computer literacy is essential, with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, GOLDesp and TrilogiView systems.
An understanding of the RSAF Operation and working practices
Must be a quality minded, mature, individual that adopts a positive and proactive approach to aircraft maintenance and support issues.
