Job Title: Graduate Defence Solutions Project Control 

Location: Portsmouth Naval Base (Hampshire)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 4 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description 

This role supports engineering delivery by contributing to technical, design, development, and qualification activities. The individual is responsible for resolving routine, well-defined issues with appropriate guidance and typically works under close supervision. They contribute to the design and development of solutions for common engineering problems, applying established engineering principles and practices to achieve effective outcomes. 

Core duties 

•    Able to perform non-complex project reporting and scheduling.
•    Query resolution of basic and routine problems.
•    Develop a knowledge of Business processes and procedures.
•    Administration and general office skills including spreadsheets/ Microsoft packages.
•    Attend on the job training as appropriate.

Become part of the only provider of complex powerful attack warships to the Royal Navy. Services range from warship availability, equipment and facilities, management training, product development and through life support for radar, frigates and the Queen Elizabeth Aircraft carrier.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects:Project Management, Business, Mathematic, Project Control

Length of contract:  Permanent contract
