Job Title: Billing Specialist

Salary: £29,000

What you’ll be doing:

• Resolving billing discrepancies through data analysis
• Updating agencies on unbilled files processed in the HR system
• Processing contractor rate amendments, allowances, and expenses
• Uploading contractor details to Abacus to ensure CPA Card Holders are charged correctly 
• Building collaborative relationships with colleagues and customers
• Providing support with minimal supervision, using sound judgement when needed
• Managing data trends and formats to meet billing requirements
• Meeting performance targets, SLAs, and quality standards
• Handling multiple queries while managing personal workload

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Comprehensive financial knowledge and experience
• Expertise in resolving complex billing issues
• Proven track record of meeting service level agreements and adhering to service definitions
• Proficiency in HR and financial systems, along with advanced spreadsheet and computer skills

The Contingent Labour team:

As a Billing Specialist you will work as part of the Contingent Team within the Recruitment Operations function to deliver a best in class recruitment service.

Reporting to the Contingent Labour Team Manager, the role will work collaboratively with functional and operational teams across BAE Systems to support the end-to-end recruitment activity in a fast paced, complex manufacturing environment. You will gain an understanding of the different business areas and their demands, with the opportunity for progression in other areas/teams.

The Billing Specialist will support day to day billing tasks ensuring our queries are responded to in line with our demanding SLA’s whilst completing the work to highest standard. The role holder will take ownership and accountability to ensure the volumes are maintained but also work collaboratively with Agencies and Stakeholders to ensure our billing objectives are delivered.
