Role Description:
Working with our Senior Project Manager – Transfer of Technology, your contribution will ensure that the technical, cost and schedule goals associated with assigned projects are achieved in accordance with the contractual and company requirements in order to deliver required business goals.
Core Duties:
- Supporting the Senior Project Manager with planning and delivery of transfer of technology and capability development activities across a complex, multi-dimensional project.
- Working with cross functional teams to co-ordinate detailed project planning activities.
- Help turn loose or unclear ideas into usable plans and next steps.
- Act as a point of contact for day‑to‑day project queries from a range of stakeholders.
- Flag risks, issues, or changes early — even if you’re not sure how they’ll play out yet.
- Work to established key success indicators and recommend trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost.
- Generation of status reports and co-ordination of variance analysis and corrective action activities.
- Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to take ownership of defined workstreams or tasks.
About You:
- Previous experience in a project or business management role, and a desire to continue to develop as a business analyst or project manager.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You enjoy working with a wide mix of stakeholders and can adapt your style to suit different people. You prefer to pick up the phone to seek clarity.
- Practical and proactive: you can work in situations where not everything is defined yet, and you are happy to help bring clarity over time.
- Naturally inquisitive and like to understand how things work. You are very comfortable asking questions, even when you’re new to a topic or speaking with senior people.
- Experience co-ordinating cross-functional teams.
- Listens carefully, joins the dots, and captures what actually matters. You have strong data analytic skills and enjoy making sense of data.
- Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite. Familiarity with tools like SharePoint and Oracle is desirable
- Ability to hold and maintain Defence Security Clearance
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role
