Salary: £42,850+ (DOE)
What you’ll be doing:
- Working across the PFCC to support process improvement activity focused around better use of data
- Using modern toolsets to provide insights to deliver projects efficiently and effectively
- Bringing data skills to modernise the PFCC approach to data maintenance
- Collaborate with Project Management and wider Finance teams to provide financial insight and maintain working relationships
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and support both internal and external audit requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement, supporting Finance Modernisation and efficiency enhancements
- Maintain accurate financial reporting to support contract performance and business agreement-making
Your skills and experiences:
Essentials:
- Part-qualified and studying towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW). (Please note: AAT is not accepted for this role)
- Previous accounting experience, with an eagerness to develop data skills to support the Project Finance team
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Ability to work cross-functionally to process, collate and interpret data efficiently and effectively and able to recognise when processes or systems aren’t working as expected and take appropriate action
Desirable:
- Know and understand stakeholders (internal and external) and ensure the relationship is maintained and enhanced
- Develop experience of using MRPs or ERPs (e.g. SAP, Infor LN) and financial reporting, forecasting and analytical tools (e.g. Cognos, Tableau)

The Air PFCC – Data Team:
You will be joining an established Project Finance Capability Centre (PFCC) team of c.150 staff that provides Project Finance support to Contracts across the Air portfolio.
