Job title: Maintenance Support Engineer
Location: Samlesbury
Salary: £47,483+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying, supporting and facilitating critical equipment Reliability Centred Maintenance studies, coordinating actions and outputs, and planning asset care strategies
- Identifying Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures, facilitating investigations and coordinating outputs and corrective actions
- Planning, preparing and establishing new asset Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM’s), ensuring topicality and appropriateness of existing PPM’s, and identifying, planning and establishing First Line Maintenance (FLM’s)
- Coordinating and facilitating asset risk and criticality assessments, collating outputs, customer feedback and IBP inputs, toolset review and improvements
- Supporting manufacturing resilience and strategy optimisation
- Departmental KPI’s and reporting, internal and external audit support
- EAM management and administration
- Investigations into new technologies to enhance departmental capabilities and modernisation
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Sound understanding of manufacturing maintenance and asset management
- Technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes and equipment
- Good understanding of how an Operations Maintenance team operates and supports manufacturing operations
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Maintenance CMMS, digitalisation, data capture and analysis toolsets

The Operations Maintenance team:
The Operations Maintenance team is accountable for asset management and the sustainment of manufacturing plant and equipment across a range of aircraft programmes. Within this diverse scope, as part of the Maintenance Business Support Team, you will provide technical problem solving, CI and maintenance toolset optimisation in support of manufacturing asset capability and sustainment, supporting asset resilience, availability and performance activities, coupled with root cause investigations and reliability centred maintenance studies for business critical equipment. This dynamic role underpins departmental performance which directly translates to Manufacturing Operations ability to deliver against our challenging aircraft build schedules.
