Role Description:
The Workplace Services Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Maintenance Manager to deliver facilities and estate projects that maintain the viability of the operational environment to support the Lead in Fighter Hawk 127 project.
Core Duties:
- Plan and deliver Built Environment Minor Works and capital investment projects in accordance with the approved governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Identify, assess and manage risk to the business through identification, assessment and analysis of facilities risks to projects, personnel and property.
- Develop value and implement value for money, whole-of-life facilities solutions that are commercially sound and fit for purpose.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with facilities suppliers and subcontractors to ensure all contracts are delivered on time and within budget.
- Co-ordinate and manage the safe and efficient movement of people across the site as required.
- Support Workplace Solutions business partnering as day to day interface to business stakeholders ensuring that Service Level Agreements are met for FM services.
- Exercise DOA level 4 financial CAM authority, including reviewing and approving expenditure for essential supplies, equipment and services to support ongoing maintenance and operations.
About You:
- Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance (Essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in the Facilities and/or Asset Management and/or Project Management field with proven ability to understand aspects of FM services across a property.
- Certified Qualifications in a related Field in related discipline.
- Experience in effectively managing a variety of subcontractors.
