27 – 31 October 2025 BAE Systems Submarines are pleased to offer this work experience opportunity in our state of the art Submarines Academy for Skills and Knowledge, Barrow-in-Furness. The experience will include an introduction to the business, introduction and insight into the Business function, a chance to discuss career paths with existing staff and apprentices, employability workshops and practical activities, along with university talks and a mock interview. You must have already achieved: 5 GCSE A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent), including maths and English. *Please note entry requirements may be subject to change annually and specific subjects for each role may be required. Further details will be shared during the work experience. Please always check the website prior to making any application. Applications to close approximately six weeks before the programme begins. However, they may close earlier if high volumes of applications are received – we recommend applying as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
