Job Title Industrial Placement Maritime Services Systems Engineer Location Broad Oak (Hampshire) Start Date 23rd June 2025 BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Industrial Placement Programme you will be required to attend your site 4-5 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager. Salary £23,100 Join our Maritime Services Team to become part of the only provider of complex warships, while providing the Royal Navy with its most advanced and powerful attack Warships. Our end to end Maritime Services range from warship availability, equipment and facilities management to training, product development and through life support for radar, torpedoes and small boats – Every role makes a difference, you will make a difference. What you will be doing You will learn and develop skills associated with the principles of Systems Engineering that can be applied across the entire engineering development lifecycle from requirement definition to system integration and acceptance into system support. Under supervision of our Senior Engineers you will apply growing Systems Engineering knowledge and skills to requirements elicitation, design, development, performance assessment, integration, acceptance and support, to resolve engineering issues for defined scenarios relating to the development and acceptance of products. Qualification requirements |
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a similarly aligned engineering degree. |
