BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Undergraduate Programme you may be required to attend your site up to 3days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.
What you will be doing On an Industrial Placement, over 12 months, you will be expected to be involved in a number of areas in order to develop a broad understanding of the HR services we are involved with. You will be responsible for undertaking HR related tasks with tailored learning to progress in all aspects of HR related activity. You will work as part of small HR team who support the business to ensure all the people related processes and systems operate effectively and efficiently. This will include resourcing and recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition, employee relations, learning and development and organisation development. You will work across a range of stakeholders, and be accountable for delivering a range of business requirements. We also provide the opportunity to get involved in projects outside of your primary remit. We encourage you to seek a stretch project in which you’ll gain different experiences. Skills As a minimum requirement you`ll need to be on course for achieving a 2:2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Marketing, Law or a Business related degree. To be considered for this role you must be returning to University to complete your degree.
