Job Title: Industrial Placement Control and Instrumentation Engineer Location: Barrow (Cumbria) BAE do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected, on our Undergraduate Programme, you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager Salary: £22,000 What you will be doing: We also provide the opportunity to get involved in projects outside of your primary remit. We encourage you to seek a stretch project in which you will gain different experiences. Specific activities could include: • You will play a pivotal part in developing integrated engineering solutions focussed on the electronic control systems which are the brains of our products. From requirements and control architecture develop to instrumentation equipment selection, integration, test and through life support you will be embedded amongst experts in the control systems field. This role will provide you with exposure to engineering lifecycle on various submarine platforms. You will be working as a key part of an agile, diverse and multi-skilled team of stakeholders with a common goal to deliver right first time solutions to our customer’s needs.
