What you will be doing
The Communications Assistant role is a key member of the Head Office Communications team, supporting the delivery of co-ordinated activities across internal and external communications, campaigns and initiatives. This role will create a number of varied opportunities to be involved in communications initiatives from across the Global Communications function.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support communications plans, programmes, campaigns and initiatives across both External Communication and Internal Communications teams.
- Co-ordinate and create content for bulletins, newsletters, presentations, briefings, intranet, campaigns and business updates.
- Understand and learn the application of Corporate Communications policies.
- Support the promotion of effective communications that proactively contribute to global business success.
- Assist in the organisation and planning of communication briefings and events in support of business objectives.
- Continually seek and identify opportunities for improvement in communications and enact these.
- Administer inputs across communications channels as required and oversee regular audits of content.
- Co-ordinate and support internal and external events including leadership walkabouts, employee forums, trade shows and media briefings.
- Provide support to communications initiatives as directed by the communications management.
Skills
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Business, PR, Communications or Marketing.
To be considered for this role you must be returning to university to complete your degree.
