Job Title: Undergraduate Data Science BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Undergraduate Programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager. Working with customers and local partners, we develop, engineer, manufacture, and support products and systems to deliver military capability, protect national security, and keep critical information and infrastructure secure. What you will be doing Computational Engineering is part of BAE Systems Air which designs and builds fixed wing military aircraft and training aircraft, as well as providing training, support and information services for the UK RAF and other customers worldwide. The Computational Engineering Capability is based in Filton, near Bristol and our work includes computer-based modelling and simulation of physical systems such as structures, fluid flows and electromagnetic effects. It also includes extensive development in Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence. This multidisciplinary area is an increasingly important service for our commercial and military customers for which we deliver solutions to engineering problems. Specific activities could include: • Working in the Advanced Computing Technology group, your work will involve developing Artificial Intelligence based demonstrators. Skills To be considered for this role you must be returning to University to complete your degree.

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science. |
