Job title: Throughlife Support & Information Engineer (Technical Publications)

Salary: £41,361 – £45,576 (Commensurate with skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- This role will require you to generate technical publications in the form of approved data to carry out maintenance operations for Fast Jet platforms at various operating bases
- You will be interpreting engineering source data, collaborating with system design teams and integrated logistic support to ensure technical publications are delivered as part of an integrated support solution
- Ensuring quality assurance of publications in accordance ASD S1000D specification, ASD-STE100, local styleguide and military regulations
- There may be a requirement to support on object verification activities either on site, customer on base in the UK or overseas
- As part of the role, you will be generating and collaborating with the wider team on work instructions and to support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- HNC/HND in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience within relevant engineering discipline
- Civil or Military aircraft maintainer experience or experience in technical publications/generating technical data
- Excellent working knowledge of engineering principles and the product lifecycle
- Experience handling technical information and proficient in the discipline of configuration control
- Proficiency in IT skills and strong interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge and understanding of an Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP), ASD S1000D and of a Common Source Database- (CSDB)

Fast Jet Support is part of the Support and Supply Chain Organisation within the Europe & International line of business.
