Job Title: SVP Assessor

Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: £35,000 + depending in skills and experience

 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Ensuring the quality of our products meets both our customers’ and our own expectations
  • Documenting and reporting any workmanship failures of product
  • Providing feedback to shop floor technicians
  • Coordinating activities with internal stakeholders
  • Contributing proactively to continuous improvement initiatives

 

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing background
  • Scheduling and managing your own workload
  • Competent IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

 

Desirable:

  • Ideally the candidate will be certified to IPC-A-610 although this could be arranged if necessary
  • Experience in Avionics
  • Understanding of auditing including root cause tools and techniques

The Electronics Systems team:

As a member of the team in one of the world’s leading defence, security and aerospace companies, you will be part of the development and supply of state-of-the-art products across a diverse range of commercial and military platforms; Head Up and Head Worn Displays, Safety Critical Pilot Control and Flight Control Systems. This is a great opportunity to work alongside different teams and exposure to work with all products at Rochester.
