JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Management Company (SMSCMC), a BAE Systems majority owned joint venture Company. The successful individual will be working for a company at the forefront of BAE Systems’ commitment to industrialise the supply chain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Working across the SMSCMC Functions and Project Teams will offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of SMSCMC in KSA.
The Job Holder will manage, control and monitor functional teams so that the required level of inventory is maintained to support the operation and identify prioritisations into the back office and work with maintenance on mitigation interventions where variances to inventory requirements exist.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Ensure support to SALAM fleet operations , meeting or exceeding contractual deliverables
· Maintain effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
· Attend meetings and report inventory management issues to the senior supply manager
· Develop and implement SC processes , Procedures , Performance measures and metrics
· Produce and share SC performance data and reports with stakeholders
· Manage the RSAF order book, ensuring the schedule is adhered to under the guidelines of the contract
· Ensure the effective utilization of inventory data and timely creation of buy / repair recommendations
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations , SHE policies, and environmental protection legislation relevant to Saudi Laws
· Adhere to ITAR/ EAR regulations and procedures
· Maximize business opportunities while minimizing risks to the forward available fleet
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
· Demonstrable leadership experience in Aerospace Supply and Logistics
· Proven in depth knowledge of Aerospace Supply and Logistics, preferably within a maintenance support environment.
· Demonstrable experience of managing teams of personnel effectively, organising and delegating tasks appropriately.
· In depth knowledge of Supply Chain accounting principles and systems, preferably IFS app 7 and IMS.
· Good understanding and use of MS office products.
· A track record of meeting strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality.
· Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation
