Job Title: Summer Intern Maintenance Engineer BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Summer Intern Programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager. What you will be doing On a Summer Internship, over 12 weeks, you will be expected to be involved in a number of areas in order to develop a broad understanding of the Products and Services we are involved with As a Maintenance & Continuing Airworthiness Intern you will be a key member of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation supporting the delivery of activities including Fleet Planning, Maintenance Planning & Tasking, Reliability & Operator Maintenance Programme, Airworthiness Records & Technical Services to enable the maximisation of operational efficiency and minimisation of costs. We also provide the opportunity to get involved in projects outside of your primary remit. We encourage you to seek a stretch project in which you’ll gain different experiences.
