Role Description
We are hiring 2 x Storepersons who will report to the Supply Support Team Lead based out of RAAF Base Williamtown. This role will support the F35 Program, responsible for stores, supply and logistics support in accordance with company and customer policies and procedures. As part of a critical warehousing and supply function, the Storeperson ensures personnel have timely access to the consumables and equipment required to maintain F35 operational readiness.
Core Duties
- Receive, store, issue and distribute parts and related inventory to support Defence operations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through stocktakes, cycle counts, shelf-life monitoring and stock control activities.
- Transportation of goods and equipment
- Process goods receipting, dispatch, returns and inventory transactions using warehouse and ERP systems.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, Dangerous Goods, export control and company procedures.
- Operate forklifts and materials handling equipment to support warehouse and logistics activities.
- Support tooling, warehousing and supply chain operations as required.
- Build strong working relationships with Defence stakeholders, customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
- Contribute to general warehouse operations, housekeeping, administration and continuous improvement activities.
Essential
- Ability to acquire and maintain an NV1 Government Security Clearance
- Forklift Licence (LF) and Driver’s License including experience operating materials handling equipment.
- Dangerous Goods qualifications, Elevated Work Platform and Explosive Ordnance experience (desirable but not required)
- Demonstrated warehousing, logistics, inventory control or supply chain experience.
- Strong aptitude using computer-based inventory management and ERP systems SAP, ALIS or similar
- Strong customer service, stakeholder engagement and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods, Chain of Responsibility and quality compliance requirements.
- Mechanical trade or tooling experience also advantageous for this role
- Defence background/experience (desirable but not required)
