SME Power BI Developer

About The Role
We are looking for a critical thinking problem-solver with experience of delivering value, to design solutions which make complex datasets easy to understand and enable clients to use their data to operate strategically and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Development, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of data models
- Creation of Power BI reports and dashboards
- Analysis and visualisation of data
- Requirements capture
- Understanding of and ability to implement data governance and compliance
Skills:
- Expertise in Power BI tools (including Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio)
- Expertise in DAX
- Expertise in SQL
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and working systems
- Experience of working directly with client stakeholders
Also desirable:
- Understanding of and ability to implement performance optimisation
- Related certifications, e.g. Microsoft Data Analyst Associate
- Activity on Microsoft Power BI Forums
