Job Title: SHE Advisor – Training
Location: Barrow-in-Furness – on-site

What you’ll be doing:
- Working within the training team, setting up training courses
- Working with suppliers, liaising with L&D team as well as training leads across other business units
- Making sure all work is fully compliant and meets set standards
- Delivering cross functional and functional training
- Ensuring that there is timely and consistent advice, support, coaching and governance of SHE (Training) standards and legislation to support all activities across the organisation
- Supporting the development and embedding of a robust and compliant SHE management system within the Submarines business and support the SHE improvement programme
- Supporting, leading and delivering key risk reduction and improvement projects / activities, on occasions
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Working knowledge of SHE management systems
- Proven background of driving a positive SHE culture
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety; Level 3 NVQ in Occupational Safety and Health Practice
- Experience within an operational environment
Desirable
- Worked in a heavily regulated environment
- Previous experience of using business reporting systems
- Training delivery / teaching or similar background

The Communications and Capability team:
As a SHE Advisor within the Communications and Capability team, you will be involved in one of the most exciting programmes in the UK, providing professional SHE advice and training. You will have the opportunity to deliver training to diverse audiences and at the same time gain exposure to wider business, networking and developing your skills and knowledge. You will have some fantastic opportunities for career progression and full support from the management. Training will also be provided.
We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
