Job Description

Job Title: SHE Advisor

Location: Great Baddow, We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £39,000

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide expert SHE guidance and assurance to a designated business sector within a Business Unit
• Offer precise advice on SHE legislation and company procedures, ensuring alignment with the business context and agreed timelines
• Perform SHE audits and inspections according to internal procedures and ISO 45001/14001 standards as scheduled
• Investigate SHE incidents, accidents, and non-compliance issues, delivering comprehensive reports with root cause analyses within specified timeframes
• Support SHE workshops and training sessions within business areas
• Actively participate in the improvement of SHE management systems, process audits, wider SHE activities, professional development, and demonstrate positive SHE behaviors

Your skills and experiences:

• Practical internal auditing skills, with a preference for ISO 14001/ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification
• Strong familiarity with BAE and SHE management systems
• In-depth knowledge of UK SHE legislation, corporate responsibility framework, sustainability model, and legal requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, coupled with exceptional report writing abilities, is essential
