Job title: Senior Training Engineer – Electronic Warfare

Salary: £49,400+ depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • The Definition of the technical training programme ensuring alignment with the programme and core training needs
  • Day to day management of the engineers, including attendance monitoring
  • Overall management and reporting of the individuals progress
  • Highlight, manage and resolve any competency issues, escalating as appropriate
  • Identification of opportunities for UK based training
  • Identification of opportunities for on-the-job training and hands on experience based training
  • Engineer certification / sign off as appropriate

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Relative experience gained on use of Electronic Warfare toolsets to provide support and knowledge to KSA engineering trainee’s
  • Relevant experience in ground-based IT virtual systems (complex server networks)
  • Previous experience of working in an integration / delivery environment

Desirable:

  • An ability to develop, manage and present a range of complex data to a variety of stakeholders
  • Background or experience in training development, deployment or delivery

The Localised Typhoon Electronic Warfare Programme Delivery (LTEWP) Integrated Product Team:

you will sit at the heart of the LTEWP programme, shaping and driving the end-to-end technical training strategy for our engineering community. This role provides leadership, coordination and oversight of a comprehensive training framework designed to ensure engineers are fully competent and deployment-ready in line with LTEWP programme requirements.

You will lead the development and delivery of a structured training programme that spans the full breadth of LTEWP capability, including toolsets, processes, requirements, test, qualification and acceptance. The approach is hands-on and immersive, ensuring engineers gain practical experience alongside technical knowledge to effectively support LTEWP operations in KSA.

This is a highly visible role with international exposure, working collaboratively on-site at Warton and with customer and partner teams in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It offers the opportunity to influence capability development, build engineering excellence, and directly contribute to operational readiness on a major defence programme.
