Job Title: Senior Technical Coordinator

Location: Coventry. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing and managing an office in all aspects of facilities and day to day enquiries
  • Providing efficient, responsive support to our Submarine employees 
  • Communicating in an efficient and professional manner to both internal and external stakeholders and helping to resolve queries and escalating where appropriate 
  • Point of contact for the Service Provider for any day to day maintenance work both routine and reactive
  • Utilising relevant management systems, making sure all budget and spend is recorded
  • Liaising and Coordinating with IT department
  • Managing and overseeing visitor access
  • Leading and supporting a team including evaluating and managing staff performance
  • Acting as SHE support and liaising with the HS&E Advisor to ensure compliance within the office 

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Demonstratable working experience within an office environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong organisations skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise workload

Desirable:

  • Business Administration Professional qualification
  • Previous experience training or mentoring team members
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint

The Business Operations Support team: To support our ongoing need to recruit the best engineering talent, BAE Systems Submarines is delighted to shortly be opening a brand new office in Coventry. BAE Systems Submarines is experiencing a period of significant growth and we are now actively recruiting a variety of roles and specialisms to support our ongoing submarines programs which is critical to delivering our national endeavour.

This role is an exciting opportunity to support the day to day running of our new facility and the people within it, you will be joining a dynamic and highly motivated team within the Business Operations Support Function. You will gain insight in to our Business Operations, enhancing your understanding of various sectors across our portfolio.  You will embrace growth opportunities with dedicated management support. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
