Job Title: Senior Tax Advisor

Salary: Up to £95,000 depending on skills and experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver best in-class tax business partnering developing extensive knowledge of the business
- Strategic input and support to the Director of Tax Strategy & Advisory in developing and maintaining tax strategy and policy
- Governance-lead focus to tax advisory with effective communication to stakeholders
- Proactively monitor the external environment for regulatory changes and interpret implications for BAE Systems
- Be able to demonstrate the effective tax rate and accounting implications of tax advice
- Develop and maintain successful relationship with senior stakeholders across the business and externally
- Strategic input into tax risk management with a particular focus on corporate tax
- Delivery of ad hoc projects for the team, which may include tax technology, tax operations, governance and/or reporting areas
- Provide leadership and mentorship to more junior members
Your skills and experiences:
- High level of subject matter UK corporate and international tax technical expertise
- Experience working as an in-house tax advisor in a large MNE or senior position in a professional services form
- Senior tax advisor / business partner experience
- Experience of leading relationships with tax authorities and senior stakeholders

The Head Office Tax Team:
Reporting to the Director of Tax Strategy & Advisory, you will be joining a team with a modern structure and flexible environment, that is international facing, in a high-profile role that will have you engaging with a range of senior stakeholders throughout the business. This role will include working as an advisor/business partner subject matter UK corporate and international tax technical expertise required.
