Job Title: Oman Technical Lead

Salary: £54,793+ Depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide technical management support to the Oman PEM and to the Oman Customer, across a wide range of activities. The role will involve managing the output from other teams across Air (i.e. Service Delivery Units), focusing on ensuring the Post Design Service Contract Deliverables and enduring contractual commitments are met
- Liaison with the Typhoon SDUs and Ops Centre, EF, EPCs and in-country personnel responsible for delivering the products and services required to meet the Oman PDS Contract and representing the Oman programme in key reviews
- With support you will be responsible for the core engineering services across the Oman Contract of Air products and services: primarily Lifecycle, Requirements, and Configuration Management
- Collaborate with Programme Integration Leads on other contracts as well as the International Safety, Requirements and Governance Leads to share best practice and contribute to an environment of continuous improvement
- Interfacing with the Oman Project Office and delivery shared services to manage delivery of Oman products and services
- Manage the previous Oman Contract Closure and Phase 8 Design Review as well as the engineering lifecycle reviews for the Post Design Support (PDS) Contract
Your skills and experiences:
- Educated to degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience
- Have Typhoon product knowledge
- Experienced in technical management/integration
- Have an understanding of Requirements, Configuration and Acceptance management
- Be able to demonstrate strong leadership with tenacity and resilience and the ability to operate autonomously as required

This team is at the forefront of providing comprehensive technical support and management throughout the life of the Oman contract, addressing a wide range of technical issues and ensuring the successful delivery of key objectives. By working closely with the Oman Programme Engineering Manager (PEM) and engaging with multiple stakeholders, including international partners, the team plays a critical role in the programme’s success.
