Job title: Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: £39,284 – £48,213 (dependent on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

• Producing and issuing systems engineering data to meet project requirements in line with agreed standards and procedures, whilst maintaining quality, cost and schedule adherence
• Liaising with other engineering and project areas in a collaborative environment to develop engineering solutions
• Performing engineering tasks dependent on lifecycle phase which could include requirements development, system and equipment design and development, modelling and analysis, system integration, qualification and certification, and testing
• Writing specifications, reports and proposals
• Steering new systems development through implementation of best practice systems lifecycle processes
• Working with customers to support delivered systems and resolve issues

Your skills and experiences:

• Degree or equivalent experience or qualification in relevant STEM subject (e.g. Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science)
• Demonstrable knowledge of the system engineering lifecycle with ability to apply good systems engineering practices to your work
• Demonstrated experience in Mechanical, Propulsion, Electrical, Avionics or Fluid Systems Engineering, preferably in an aerospace, naval, defence or automotive industries
• Ability to effectively research system design data and apply to complex problems
