Salary: £51,772.00 + DOE

Job Description: 

Support engineering integration for the Türkiye Support Solution, focusing on non-recurring Entry into Service activities, including requirements derivation with wider engineering teams. Contribute to design work with SDUs and suppliers such as OEMs and vendors, and support integration, testing, qualification, certification, and acceptance. Assist in producing engineering plans, processes, and artefacts for programme management, while ensuring appropriate governance through lifecycle management and technical reviews. Additionally, support the implementation of Safety Management System activities for the Türkiye programme.

Core duties:

  • Support the engineering integration activities in relation to the Türkiye Support Solution Non-recurring activities in support of Entry into Service, including support the Support Solution and requirements derivation activities with the wider Engineering teams.
  • Design activities with the SDUs and suppliers, e.g. EF/EPCs, OEMs and Vendors, etc. Integration, testing, qualification and certification activities with the SDUs. Along with clearance, release and acceptance in support of Entry into Service.
  • Support the production of engineering plans, processes and artefacts to manage the Turkiye programme.
  • Support the application of the appropriate level of governance and oversight including Engineering Lifecycle Cycle Management, Green Star and Technical reviews in support of the Turkiye programme.
  • Support the establishment and enactment of the Safety Management System activities for the Turkiye programme.

Essential Skills: 

  • Broad based engineering background with knowledge of aircraft development, support products and non-recurring National support environment; preferably on Typhoon.
  • Educated to degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience.
  • Good technical skills base, with experience of operating in a non-recurring support environment.
  • Good Knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle and Governance
  • Systems Engineering approach to Technical Management.

The Türkiye Engineering Team : 

The Team is responsible for delivery of a Non-Recurring National Support Solution for the Türkiye contract.

This team ensures Understanding and developing the Customer’s requirements for the Non-Recurring Support Solution. Delivery of the Türkiye Contract Packages for the Non-Recurring Support Solution. Coordination and management through the wider Engineering organisation of key deliverables to enable these deliverables
