Senior Quality Manager – SSN-A Build

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Quality Manager  

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. This is a full time on site role 

Salary: £60,250 plus, depending on skills and experience with executive car allowance and benefits on top

What you’ll be doing: 

• You will be leading a team of Quality Professionals and project managers to drive improvement into the SSN-A schedule
• Be a point of contact for all SSN-A build quality issues and represent Quality in SSN-A senior leadership team
• Collate elements of knowledge using Learning from experience within Astute & Dreadnought and implement onto the SSN-A programme
• Be responsible for the Project management of all quality opportunities for SSN-A
• Report on the overall progress across SSN-A quality areas
• Oversee the delivery of the quality requirements in build as a Facility Quality Manager 

Your skills and experiences: 

• You will need to have proven, direct leadership experience
• Have gained experience within a professional engineering environment
• Hold good knowledge and understanding of Quality techniques and inspection methods
• Have strong Project management skills & experience
