Job Title: Senior Project Professional – Trident SIG

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: From £40,748 depending on skills and experience

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing & mitigating Risks under the leadership of the Project Lead
  • Attending risk reviews relevant to Trident alongside or deputising for the Project Lead
  • Supporting Dreadnought by facilitating readiness sessions, LfE (Learning from Experience) meetings and problem solving working groups.
  • Working with stakeholders to update the risk reporting tools. Including the Risk database and RION (Risk Opportunity Network)
  • Developing relationships and consulting with key stakeholders e.g. BAE Risk team and CAMs (Control Account Manager), DN Alliance and support team
  • Monitoring and reporting on Risk health, engaging with SQEP stakeholders to develop Risk mitigation strategies and support the closure of outstanding risks where appropriate
  • Collaborating with SQEP stakeholders to identify and mature opportunities to protect the Level 3 schedule baseline
  • Understanding and supporting the CAM/PMBCR (Project Management Baseline Change Request) process to acquire funding where a Risk mitigation/opportunity is identified

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Previous experience using ARM (Active Risk Manager) toolset
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data within ARM
  • Ability to report and present data to wider stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience working on a complex project or programme within a project environment

Desirable:

  • Recognised Project Management qualification such as APM or Prince2

The Trident System Integration Group team:

This is an incredible opportunity to become part of the Trident System Integration Group Team, where you will provide support for the Dreadnought Programme by reviewing future enablement support. You will collaborate with other teams to assist with kit deliveries, build support, and readiness sessions. Join a forward-thinking team that is always one step ahead and focused on the future. You will also receive encouragement and support for your learning and development, along with exposure to the broader business. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
