Job title: Senior Procurement Engineer – Delivery Business Partner

Salary: £47,683+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- You will work as a member of the procurement team representing the Procurement Function in Critical Customer Reviews
- You will be managing an Order Book on behalf of the Customer to drive critical requirements through the Supplier facing Buying Teams
- You are the escalation point from the Customer into the Supplier Management Teams, to manage urgent adhoc requirements and performance improvements where needed
- You are also an escalation point for Procurement into the Customer & Supply Chain Teams to improve responsiveness
- You will be managing adherence to Governance, Policy and Processes to achieve compliance to customer, product, legal and business requirement
- You are going to support Tactical resolution of issues which are preventing a customer requirement from being delivered
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Extensive Procurement experience, preferably in a high volume, fast paced aerospace or manufacturing market
- Professional knowledge and understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain Management principles and practices including an understanding of the impact and implications of decisions made to stakeholders and suppliers.
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain orderbook management including raising Purchase Orders and managing them through to successful delivery
- A proven ability to collaborate, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, enhanced by excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment
- Ability to compile data, analyse and propose recommendations through reports and presentations
Desirable:
- Tableau dashboarding
- Demonstrative working understanding of tool sets and IT such as ERP/ MRP (Materials Resource Planning) systems

Acting as trusted advisors, the team partners with senior stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of essential procurement hardware and services, while communicating progress in high-level reviews. The team leads the deployment of procurement strategies that align with business objectives, leveraging a multi-functional group of experts, executives, and professionals.
