Job title: Senior Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional – Controls
Location: Barrow-in Furness or Bristol. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £38,734 + depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Working with the project management leadership team to set up the project management processes to the newly forming SSNA AUKUS Team
- Undertaking intermediate problem solving typically based on previous experience
- Identifying, assessing & managing risks to the success of the project
- Applying appropriate planning, monitoring & control methods, and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative / agile) approaches
- Agreeing PM&C approach with stakeholders, and preparing realistic plans (including quality, risk, and communications plans) and tracking activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate
- Consolidating expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives
- Supporting and promoting the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Demonstratable working knowledge within Project Controls
- Ability to take learning from experience and put into practice
- Excellent Stakeholder management
Desirable:
- Experience with SAP would be advantageous
- Role typically requires a Project Management related University Degree or equivalent by experience
