Job Description
Job Title: Senior Finance Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Barrow in Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: £60,000 + depending on experience with an added car allowance and bonus on top
What you’ll be doing:
· Ensure the delivery of high quality Financial Planning and Analysis services to the Submarines business, providing quality, forward looking information and analysis
· Drive end to end process and data improvements (including automation) and efficiencies as they relate to the Submarines business, and contributing to the implementation of IT improvements
· Work to deliver and enhance the finance monthly management reporting process, and the integrated business planning process, overseeing and delivering report production in a standardised fashion aligned with other business areas
· Presentation at monthly Maritime Sector Finance reviews and Business Plan reviews, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities around sales, margin/EBIT and cash
· Liaise with the Business Operations team to ensure plans are in place for the delivery of quality business performance reporting, in line with Group requirements
· Actively contribute to the delivery of Financial Planning and Analysis modernisation initiatives to drive standardisation, drive efficiency and effectiveness
· Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to understand scenarios for key programme areas, support the broader systems strategy, reviewing the future business plan for opportunities
Your skills and experiences:
· You will preferably be a member of a UK recognised professional accountancy body with a significant post qualification experience and a proven track record in the Financial Planning and Analysis domain
· You will be able to demonstrate a good business understanding and articulation of forecast movements, risks and opportunities
· Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and accounting policies coupled with excellent planning and process management skills
· Broad experience of finance management, planning and commercial finance in a complex multi-national business
· Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish efficient and effective working relationships and to influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation

The Financial Planning & Analysis Team:
Within the finance function, Financial Planning and Analysis teams are responsible for leading the delivery of high quality and forward looking financial analysis and insights to the business. Bringing together FP&A experts from across the UK footprint, they are the primary points of contact into business Finance Directors and provide crucial insights on the key business and financial performance.
