Job title: Senior Engineer – Systems Engineering (Integration)

What you’ll be doing:
Ensuring technical activities are performed in accordance with engineering procedures and that appropriate levels of internal and independent governance are applied - Developing, where needed, engineering standards and processes to demonstrate SQEP and compliance
- Deputise for the Principal Engineer when necessary and as part of personal development
- Support integration activities in the Barrow Integration Qualification Facility
- Support testing activities in the IQF and provide SQEP input where requested
Your skills and experiences:
Degree level qualification in relevant STEM subject (Engineering/ Physics/ Maths/ Science) - Knowledge of the system engineering lifecycle with ability to apply good systems engineering practices to their work
Experience and knowledge gained through working with C&I systems Understanding of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations

The AVC Integration team:
As a Senior Engineer (Integration), you will be working on the Dreadnought Class submarine programme.
You, as a member of the Integration Team you will be supporting the development of the functional design, its implementation and subsequent integration (through verification and validation), through to the test & commissioning phases of build.
